I'll start with two that I know are solid. The first is Deceive Inc. Still has a small and dedicated playerbase and games pop off more in the weekends. It has no more updates though, but servers still active official servers. This one is a Spy vs Spy game and you can even play in teams. It's awesome and will set you back $20 sometimes goes on sale.

The second one is Of Guards and Thieves. This one is like Splintercell multiplayer but top down view. It's awesome and free to play.

Considering Ubisoft keeps churning them out they are sustainable. Also Stalker 2 is selling well. The issue is when they try to monetize the shit out of them. Some monetization is ok but when they put it all in your face that's what turns gamers off.

Linear games are making a come back as well. I think the game genre can survive for Open World it just needs to be done right. For example the latest world of warcraft patch with Undermine is stellar a 10 out of 10 patch and well worth checking out.

Deceive Inc I love it very much. Too bad the team shut down but the game is still running. What they acheived is incredible.

Yes I play a lot of multiplayer games not as much co-op except a lot in World of Warcraft.

Fortnite just didn't get into this one very much, although I did enjoy the team battle mode for pvp. Didn't try the zombies mode that you have to pay for but would like to. Also Apex Legends. It's a great game but it's full of aim botters so that's no fun.

Counsterstrike 2.0. Maps are just too simple game is just too simple for my taste. It gets tedious doing the same bomb defusal map over and over. I wish people would play other modes.

I think it really depends. I like normal difficulty or hardcore difficulty. I only play hard if i have enough time because games take a long time playing on the hardest difficulty and sometimes it's just beefier enemies with more health not more challenge really.

One example I can think of is Mass Effect 2. The insanity run was fun but I question if it was worth it. Yes it was satisfying but the mobs have so much health you just sit there shooting really.

Secondly I think a game that did difficulty right was Dragon Age: Origins. The game is brutally hard in the beginning but by the midway and end you steamroll through everything it was great.
