My honest opinion is not to play Runescape, I played it for 6 months as a Member. First off, I realise that HD (High Detail) RS has taken off. Secondly, even the aforementioned graphics are nothing in comparison to other MMORPG's out there, I could recommend a whole bunch of Free MMOG's like Silkroad Online, I'm not Recommending this but cracked WOW editions have proved that pay-to-play games with far superior graphics can become free (with a handful of errors, mind you..not to mention illegal) except for EVE where I'll chop off my fingers and eat them if someone discovers a way to create the persistent world of EVE, run by the best gaming super-server in the world (according to my sources). Gameplay in RS is something to stay away from, ive met people who spend upwards of several months training in one skill to lvl 99 to get a few pixels of a lvl 99 cape to gloat over other players with,which is sad because normally these players are member and the only effective way to get this skills up efficiently is by becoming a member. Best thing you could do is Experiment with different F2P games until you find one you like because everyone has their own different opinions, like the person below me who is most likely going to flame this post because my opinion of RS is stupid and my correct grammar and use of words will put me into the perception of me being a obese nerd who has nothing else better to with his life.
