Dude, your post is just LAUGHABLE. Ranting about something to peers after the fact is not in ANY way comparable to lashing out on the job, in front of coworkers, and then undermining the boss when he tries to calm you down. I'm not even saying that Christian Bale was wrong to even talk to the guy like that, but there is a time and a PLACE. There's a reason why bosses who aren't jerks tend to call people into their offices and fire those people IN PRIVATE.
