Don't bundled games have a box that says "not for resale"? I say this because I once bought a PS3-bundled copy of Motorstorm at EB Games for $5. So it is very possible that this warning is usually ignored, as it obviously was in my case.Granpire

Not sure about ps3 bundle, but didn't notice that for the ps vita bundle game (for me it was ac3 liberation). That being said, the game bundled was literally just the game: no seperate game box, no case to put the game in, no manual for the game either, just the game itself was included inside the packaged bundle. That alone should make it fairly difficult to sell standalone haha....

Its worth buying imo, even moreso if you plan to import games, or have already bought games on PSN account.

I got lucky and snagged one on black friday back in nov (saved 80 bucks off one of those ac3 liberation bundled vitas)

I got ff7 on my vita and it works fine. Only thing that bugs me is that it doesn't fit the screen well (which is natural i supose)

None really, why would they need to include dual language. Some games require little knowledge of japanese though to play.

For example, if you are expecting to play a jrpg imported, you should expect to not understand the story since rpgs involve alot of text.

On the other hand if you play something like project diva ~f, you will be able to play it despite knowing very little to no japanese (you will learn through trial and error what a yes or not button is for example)

Your milage will vary. If you're planning only only playing Vita games on the vita, then as you probably know, the current lineup of games available in north america is pretty limited.

If you really want to get the most out of the vita in its current state, you should:

1.) use PSN and be interested/buy ps1/psp games. Its a great platform for reliving some of the old classics.

2.) import games (japan currently has quite a few more vita games, alot of which will not likely be localized) This may or may not apply to you though depending on your ability to read japanese and weither or not you like jrpgs and other niche types of games.

I for one, enjoy my vita quite a bit since i do both of the above, but If i was strictly buying only for Vita games available in North america, i'd have probably not purchased one.

If i had to choose between a Vita and a 3DS, right *now* i'd choose a Vita. That being said, in 3-6 months from now, that would probably change since the 3DS has quite a few big, exclusive titles coming out. Vita really needs more games to be made and localized to NA within the next 6months to a year or else it might end up dying. Cheaper memory cards too (why the **** am i paying 3x more for a slightly altered microSD card....)

Hate to say it, but you really need to have at least some basic japanese reading ability to get the most out of a Vita atm (luckily i do heh). There's some nice import games which are unlikely to be ported to NA/europe. The library of games available for sale NA atm is like less than half of that in japan.

If you can't read japanese, you can probably still play something like Project Diva f at least, which i highly recommend.
