The post on the 21st was made before they knew the full extent of the problem. It makes no sense to bash them for not being fully aware only a day, probably less, into the breach. However, there was a post on the 31st that stated in bold and all caps that PSN would be up by the end of the week, but Sony didn't make that deadline. That's probably the only time the officially stated it would be up with no ifs, ands, or buts. If you really think they're not working hard to fix this problem, think about all the potential profits that are lost each day the network/store is down. On top of that, E3 is nearing, giving Sony every reason to get the network secure and online as fast as possible. PSN would be up by now if it was ready. Yes it is. By name you mean when you turn it on, you select under which account?? then yes it;s the same.
However, I didnt have a chance to fully deactivate it under psn.......not sure if it's relevant.
Man, you have to wait until PSN is back up so you can log in and prove that you are the owner of the save files which are tied to your PSN account, not the name you gave your console...

I didnt even get a new ps3 and my games and data are saying ithey arent mine, but hopefully when it comes psn comes back(when i marry Kim Kardashin lol) we'll be cool. How some of you react it amazes me people were able to have a good time without video games. Life is short. Don't go crazy over not being able to play something for a couple weeks. Go find something to enjoy while you wait.
Yea...thats why i have been playing guitar ALOT more recently, and btw im not complaining about stuff to do, music is endless, and like i said i work like half the day, unlike other ppl who complain, i have a right to. I see the light of day and have a life, i just like coming home and being able to relax and shoot sum zombies, or w/e. Oh yea watching movies? Netflix dont work 4 me at all. I just dont like the fact that my ps3 has become a giant cd player. If i were able to play single player like all my friends i wouldnt mind 1 bit, but the fact that i have absolutely nothin to play really bugs me. Dont assume everyone is the same, everyone else gets to at least play something while i watch it just collect dust. I just learned Dogs by Pink Floyd and Castles made of Sand by Hendrix on my guitar, it takes awhile to actually learn it, which is my point exactly. Its not like im sayin stupid crap bout hackers or makin myself look like an ass. Im a hard worker who jus wants to relax for 3 or 4 hours before i have to get up and do it all over again. I mean i bought it for entertainment and right now its jus there. The updates on PS.Blog is wat really got me like wdf man.
