I enjoy getting trophies but I definitely don't care about getting all trophies. I want to play a lot of different games on different consoles and to do that I don't have the time or patience to try and get every trophy on any one game. Especially the "tedious" ones - if I can't have fun getting it forget it. Defeats the whole purpose of playing a game. I do check the ones available for a game though and make a point of getting any that would either be fun to go after or not too much trouble.
I need to know more about it first. I just cancelled my Xbox Live subscription that I'd had since the console launched to save money and I can still play online with the PS3 without buying Plus so I'd be hard pressed to pay for that instead of using the money to buy more of the amazing games that were introduced at E3. I like to have something tangible when I spend that kind of money. But if the discounts on downloads would make it "pay for itself" I will consider it. The cross chat thing I couldn't care less about.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Medal of Honor, and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. There are many more I am excited about but those are by far the top three.
Before E3 I had no interest in it but Dance Central changed my mind. Right now it's the only Kinect compatible game that interests me so far though, so I'm not sure whether I'm going to plunk down $150 for it at launch, especially with all the other amazing games and accessories coming out fall/winter 2010. It seems like a lot of the games announced so far target a casual audience, although there is nothing casual about the price point. I don't know how that's going to work out for them. But I will definitely buy one at some point, as well as Dance Central the day I do.
I have mixed feelings about it, but I like it better than the Xbox360 and Wii controllers. The only thing I don't like is how the L2 and R2 buttons slant back. It gets uncomfortable for my fingers on certain games.
