Greetings everyone, and God's blessing. It's been a while since my last blog entry, because I've been waiting to come up with something to post or some news to relay, so I thought I could fill in the gap by stealing an idea from my friend, dylan417. In the comments section for this blog, go ahead and ask me 2 questions and I will do my best to answer. The questions can be anything that you like. I will post the answers in a follow-up blog separate from this one.
For what little news that I have, I would like to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying my BTAS collection, even though I've been forced into using my PS3 to play the discs because of both my slim PS2 and my DVD player not being able to properlyread the discs for some odd reason. Despite the fact that they came in the set, sealed, they still had a few fingerprints and some minor scratches when I unboxed them. I didn't think it would cause a problem but apparently I was wrong. :( Even so, they're awesome.
I'm also picking up my old "Battlefield fever" again in the form of Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 2. The former has recently started working properly again which is very nice, but the latter is still having major issues. For the last 3+ days in a row, my stats and weapon upgrades/specs have been wiped and reset to rank one. To be honest, EA and DICE have to be one of the worst combinations ever to collaborate in making games. Whenever they come together for a project, something goes wrong, despite the game itself being a great concept.
Lastly, the one item that I'm getting ready to purchase soon (hopefully) will be AC Brotherhood. I've heard some complaints about multiplayer matchmaking, glitching, etc., but it honestly isn't enough to make me turn away from the brilliant possibility of being a stealthy assassin online.
Well, I'll now leave you with what is, in my opinion, one of the best scenes from the movie "Tron: Legacy". The movie as a whole was pretty mediocre and over-the-top in terms of how cyber-punk it was, but it had some pretty cool moments, stunning visuals, and great audio. Also, the laugh at 3:41 is just priceless. :P
