Hello there everyone. I realize that it's been far too long since my last blog, but I want to assure you all that I'm not done with these things. No, rather, I've been waiting until a few different events...fall into place. Unfortunately...*monocle smile*...I can't tell you what they are yet. But I simply need them to occur before I can write the next blog, lol. If that confuses you at all I apologize.
As for now, there isn't a whole lot to say. I've finished my book that I had been writing, and now it just requires editing, which I am extremely reluctant to do. You try writing a 130 page book and then diving back in at the very beginning to edit it and realize just how bad you are at writing when you do so, lol. Several members of my family are planning to read it in its unedited state, so that should be helpful for me because I can gather their input before I begin my work on the novel once more. I haven't come to a conclusion yet as to whether or not I'll try posting it online somewhere.
The demo for NFS: Hot Pursuit releases on October 26, and yes, I know I've mentioned it before...lol. Ishall include a demo-review of it in my next blog, so if you for some reason are hesitant to download the free demo (???) or just want my opinion, you can check it out. I'm also planning on reviewing the full game when it releases, in a review here at Gamespot.
At least for the moment, I've decided to wait on picking up Mirror's Edge. I played through the demo a few more times and watched more gameplay, and the more I see, the less I become excited, honestly. The combat appears like it would get old after a while, as would the art design, and the free running doesn't interest me enough to adda lot ofreplay value on top of that. If Gamestop ever has a deal on pre-owned titles again or something noteworthy, I'll check it out once more. But for now, my attention will be on NFS: Hot Pursuit and my other games such as Bad Company 2 and MAG.
