This year I have much to be thankful for:

I'm thankful for my health (even though I have a concussion from football) and my family.

Even more than that I'm thankful for the things my parents do for me.

Also I'm thankful as my football season closed for my team last week losing in the Metro Bowl Semi Finals (Metro Bowl is State Championship Equivalent for Ontario)

I've started to talk to scouts for possible recruitment, though I'm only in my junior year of High school.

This means soon I'll start really visiting schools (mostly Canadian) and my parents are supporting me the entire way with all of this.

So I would like to give a big thank you to my parents and a thank you to you guys who every week bring us "From the Bleachers"

I think that the Final Four this year will be:

North Carolina

UCONN

Those two seem pretty obvious right now and then I think

PITT

AND PURDUE willmake the Final Four

Also i think that Tyler Hansbrough will finally get a Championship in his senior year. For NC

Also I think that College Football could use a playoff system like this but with fewer teams. I know it was suggested on the show but i think it could work.

 Keep up the great work.

[QUOTE="RedKnightRaider"]Fair enough but because of how Bad the Leafs have been in the past few years it's a nice change to see them winning or in position to comeback everynight. We also beat the Devils and Brodeur was in net and we were down 2 goals in that game as well. so the leafs have made strides as of late and they are headed in the right direction. They finally have speed which is key in the new NHL as some people still call it.Dracula68

I would go too crazy. Anybody can beat anybody on a given night. Also, the Devils are real easy to beat so I wouldn't brag too much about beating them. You beat the other elite teams in the league then you got something--Sharks, Habs, Wings, etc.

I understand that the devils are an easy team to beat but they have a top three goalie in my mind. For that i think this is a better team but they have many more opportunities to prove if they are for real and I think they will have a tough job making the playoffs still.

Usally I'm a sports gamer and I'll play some driving games and shooters, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for new games for the 360. I know I'll probably be buying the new COD, but past that I don't really know what else is coming out.

Thanks

When is the NBA All-Star game coming to Toronto, the Raptors have become one of the most popular teams in the city and whenever there is a big event like this it's always a big deal for the entire city. When we hosted the NHL All-Star gamein 2000 we had a good turnout and I went to the All-Star game and it had a great atmosphere and great event surronding it and I think an NBA All-Star game could be just as exciting for the city. We are one of Five teams who have never had it and I would say we are a bigger market team/city than Oklahoma City, Portland, Sacremento and Memphis.

This game and many others the Leafs have played shows that they are a different team. I stopped watching in the third period to watch the Texas vs Texas Tech game because I didn't think the Leafs could come back. Later i saw this thread and the highlites on NHL.com, I am starting to believe in these Leafs. They never give up like Leaf teams in the past, they had so much intensity in the first two periods and i'm glad it continued in the third. They have finally found a good mix of vets and rookies and they are a much faster team, that actually works hard and doesn't quit. I think Ron Wilson was a great choice for coach and has been a major part in this turn around and Vesa Toskala really kept us in the game.

Way to Make me a believer again Leafs keep it going!

In the NFL it's always fun to have a dominant team to hate, but i think this season is a breath of fresh air. But I do have some problems with the parity that has happened so far in this season. Having top tier teams (according to many at the beginning of the season) such as the Cowboys, Patriots and Colts lose to teams like the Dolphins, Rams and the Jaguars is a joke. Although it begs questioning if there is a change going on in terms of dominating teams. The Giants, despite there loss to the Browns have looked really strong, the Titans are 7-0. Also I think there are many teams that I think are Underachieving. I think that these top teams have to enter games with a win or go home attitude so they don't get surprised by the leagues bottom feeders. I will always have respect for an underdog team digging deep to beat a team that's better than them (like last years Superbowl), But a team that just doesn't show up needs to get it together and fix it.
