Xbox 360 System update now available (no new features)

A few minutes ago, the team released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE. Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you'll recieve a prompt to accept this mandatory update. This update contains code to 'prepare for future growth of the service.' There are no other changes or enhancements in this update...in other words no new features.

To be clear: This is not the new Xbox experience update. That will come in the Fall.

i noticed that! i rekon its a pre-update....update. the xbox gettin ready for the big update which maybe means its coming soon!

or maybe sumthing to do with the Bad Company DLC coming 2moro.

OR yes it could just be a random patch

well i think its a cool idea! i mean its optional so i dnt see y it shud upset anyone! i just hope the lil guys can taunt other players cos tht wud be so funny! to see a digital version of yaself cheerin at you pwning at a game! it needs to be "cool" which is hard to do for alot of gamers to accept! atleast microsoft are tryin somefin a bit fun, even if it is a blatant ripoff! haha! but who cares! if its fun then DO IT!

the cheat in gta 3 where peds hav guns and fight each other was intense! you would be driving around and it would be WAR everywhere! i want them to bring tht back!

oh and as a validation of my post......after watching the latest videos of this game it suddenly looks a bit rubbish!

il stick with battlefield bad company for my destruction kicks!

i cant believe no1 has said metal slug 3?!?!? it may not be the best in the series but its still great fun! and can be played co-op with a buddy which is just awesome!

im lookin to spend some 500 points myself but there is nothing that catches my eye!

i still go bk to the slug tho! so thts my recomendation!

saw em they look awesome the car one is funny! AND shows that car models are actually really good! cant wait to save the environment whilst mowing down pedestrians....erm i mean...bad guys! :D

bolt action sniper rifle from Resi 4 nothing like poppin heads from a distance and the satisfying reload after every shot!

that and the flame thrower from metal slug three so satifying burnin up loadsa zombies!

well i got it for half price and i think for £20 its a bragain, good graphics fun gameplay and i love the fact its so oldschool! howver i wud never have paid full price for it!
