That's the problem. I've tried just about every place i can, i can't find the line in on my case or in the back. I need help locating it, i can't find it. Tried like every insert. And i don't know how to turn up the volume on the line-in jack either. The only options i have are: under playback devices.. ATI DP OUTPUT, speakers, headphones, digistal audio (S/PDIF), Speakers ( Usu PnP sound Device). The first one idk what that is but it says not plugged in.

I alright i just hooked up the xbox 360 to my moniter and for the audio i do have the 2 to 1 cord ( i think RCA) and i can't find where to plug it. Only place that works as of now is my moniter but it's speakers are very quite so i can barely hear a thing. How can i fix it so i hear it out of my speakers. My case is a CM690 and my moniter is a Asus VW224

Built in cd drives means you can take it with you...Basically if there was a laptop like that $700 asus but with a built in dvd/cd player then im sold on it. It truly looks amazing.

I like those two asus laptops. They look good and the 600$ laptop has worse parts than the macbook from what i can tell but im not very familiar with laptop specs so i don't really know. And it may be 1000$ but you get a free ipod touch so you'd be able to sell that for around 180$. So let's just assume it costs 820$ for now. I think theres another 50$ off since your a student, but lets just say 800$. Is this 200$ worth the performance gain over the 600$ laptop?

And the 600$ looks very nice and sleek but the only problem is it doesn't have a cd/dvd drive..

Can you provide me with examples of 500-700$ windows based laptops that have the same performance as a macbook, with good battery life, lightweight, easy to carry around, and sexy and sleek design?

From what i hear netbooks have bad performance. And this is making it harder to make a decision because there are people saying go for macs and there are people who aren't lol. :( I might wait a month or two for the new i5 cpus. And what about the m11x?

EDIT: Never mind the m11x is pretty bulky in size and isn't very sleek looking.
