Probably not really unless your running crossfire even then its only a few FPS. I am not sure the other differences. I went with msi p67a-g43. I got it for $69 bucks and a$15 mail in rebateand my 2500k for $179 at micocenter.

Thanks for the help. Probably gonna go with the cheaper one after all and upgrade to a geforce 570

[QUOTE="Regneb"]

[QUOTE="istuffedsunny"]If you're not going to SLI I recommend getting the cheaper ASUS P8P67 LE (or something else in that price range), and if you're not going to OC forget about the 212. Finally replace the Seagate with a WD Black, and put your saved money towards a 570. AutoPilotOn

What are the differences that make the P8P67 LE almost $50 cheaper?

I know one thing is only one PCI-E is 16x the other one is 4x. The higher end ones allow for 8x8x.

Motherboards confuse me. Is $45 worth it to get 8x8x rather than 4x in your opinion?

ok great advice guys. No set budget. Anything I should look for in particular with cases other than aesthetics? Seems like most of the ones at newegg have sufficient fans, slots, etc.

-havent decided on a case yet but would really like your opinions on a good one to get. Was considering a tempest evo or Illusion 300 maybe.

-heard the samsung spinpoint was good but is 3.0Gb/s while the seagateis 6.0Gb/s

I was told curly hair releases heat at a faster rate than straight hair- so it is climate conditions.

yeah that's just the first step though. Maybe that's why a chimpanzee is 'smarter' than another animal.
