Sony and microsoft have said that they want to make their consoles a 10 year console which would end in 2014 or 2015. nintendo is planing to release their system in 2012. Nintendo has the 3ds and skyward sword to tie them over until the next console. sony has the ngp. microsoft has...... Well i guess they have windows. nintendo needs to rethink their next hardware power because it shouldn't be a system where all you could have is ps3 or xbox 360 ports along with mario and zelda hd. they need to be able to compete with sony and microsoft. the controller that is rumored seems more like a gimmic than something thats innovated.
