Well, it's been quite some time since I've done a blog, almost two months in fact. The reason for the delay is just that I've been busy. Between work and games, I just haven't had the time, or the motivation to blog. But at 1:30 in the morning after having Titan Quest crash to the desktop on me....... I suddenly had the urge to post.
For awhile now I been doing the Guitar Hero updates and I think it's time to bring it to a close. I'm still playing off and on whenever I'm bored of "normal" games, and whenever I have company. But since my previous blog I have.................
Final Epic Mind-Blowingly Era-Ending Awesome Post -
The Battle Axe is mine....mwahahahaha!
So with that out of the way I'm thinking of getting a Total Access subscription going. I let my plus sub die out a few months ago and haven't gotten around to renewing. And maybe grabbin myself a shiny new web cam while I'm at it.....video blogs anyone?
Well that's all I got for now. If by chance I do grab that subscription and camera, I'll probably open with one of those completely original game collection blogs, followed by one of those even more original gaming set-up ones.
Cya.

My Epic Guitar Hero Updates #3
by Rellington on Comments
Well It's been a while and alot has happened since my last truly epic post, so without further adieu, and even epic'er then before.......
Epic Post #7 - Finished Medium with 5 stars on everything, including the bonus songs.
Epic Post #8 - Finished Hard with mostly 5 stars.
Epic Post #9 - Have gotten through most songs on Expert, except for No One Knows (Surprise!) and have now returned to 5 star the odd songs or two on Hard.
Epic Post #10 - Something I'm worried about is that I haven't even started to use Hammer On's and Off's. Seems the notes go by so fast during expert solos that I just wail away at the strum bar. Maybe once I get used to the insane speed I might be able to set em up, but for now just strumming like crazy lets me hit about 60% of the notes during the solos.
Well that's is what I have accomplished in the last 20 days since my last posts. For a week I didn't even touch the game but once I picked it up again, it was like a craving. Been playing it non stop since Friday.

Epic Post #3 - A day later and No One Knows still kicks my ass.
Epic Post #4 - I've developed a blister on my thumb from constant strumming.
Epic Post #5 - No One Knows make me wanna slit my wrists emo-style.
Epic Post #6 - That was a joke......

It's My Birthday!

I just turned 18 and received a whole whack of games including God of War, Subsistence, and Guitar Hero! Here's to me on my big day.......and to the 24 hour Guitar Hero marathon that follows!
My New Blog Banner
by Rellington on Comments
I just finished my first blog banner. Same deal as last time, this is from a painting of artist Todd Lockwood. Cover art for the same book series also.
Tips from more seasoned photoshop users would be great, I still cant figure out the best way to cut things from a picture. Magnetic Lasso is a bit too random.
Well I guess that's all, leave any feedback you want.
Update: I just updated my profile banner as well.
Here for comparison are the originals:

Tough Decisions
by Rellington on Comments
My B-Day is just around the corner and I'm having a hard time deciding between a PS2(whom I shamefully sold 3 years ago and now I want Guitar Hero, Subsistence, God of War, and others), or the DS Lite( which not owning a portable for quite awhile and seeing the innovative games that are coming out has my interest peaked) which hits Canada on the 11th.
Well, if anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear em!
Im kinda leaning toward the PS2 because Guitar Hero just looks so phenomenal, and Guitar Hero 2 is just around the corner.

My First Photoshop Attempt
by Rellington on Comments
There it is, my first creation I have ever done in photoshop. I was getting sick of just a black bar for my banner, so I did something about it.
The background is a little risky, but it is my first time.
I also cut out a part of a painting by Todd Lockwood, showing dark elf hero Drizzt Do'urden.
Im an avid fantasy reader, so I chose one of my favourite forgotten realms characters.
Those who have played the Baldur's Gate games may recognise the name as well.
So thats it, leave feedback if you wish, or tips for those who are more experienced with photoshop then myself.
Update: I just updated my banner, making it a little more professional looking. I also added a blog banner.
