I'm looking to get a new monitor for gaming mainly for PC some 360, I have 500$ to 600$ to spend and I'm really not sure about 3D, it's nice but I most likely wont get the 3d glasses the same day as the monitor, I'm not even sure if I will get head aches or sick.
My question is is the 120hz 3D capable monitor really worth it if your not going to use 3D.What I'm getting at here is the 120hz still beneficial in regards to gaming? Or will itbe waste of money because there are better 60hz monitors out there for gaming.
Also do the 3D monitors suffer in other areas in terms of color and contrast ratio compared to it's 60hz versions, due to the manufacturer's trying to cut down on other tech to make the 120hz monitors more affordable?
My first thought was all the Activision shovelware I could avoid this season if this came true lol. But yeah, this has to be about the last thing Sony wanted to see. Everyone wants a price cut, Sony wants it too, but has to make sure to get the biggest bang with the move they can get, and even most calling for an immediate cut agree it's effect would become greater closer to the holiday season. Why Activision thought now was the time to take their case to the media is beyond me. You know Sony and Activision are gonna get asked about this constantly until (and then after) a price cut comes along. Apparently PS3 selling roughly the same number of consoles since its' launch as the 360 had a year ago wasn't enough for Activision. Did they expect the PS3 to be first by now?santoron
Yeah well PS3 had a pricecut in it's first year as to where 360 didn't. So regardless Sony needs another price drop to boost sales again.
Well maybe Activision should start working on a project for 360 PC and maybe MS could help out, every one wins, er well except for Sony, if you read the comments Sony fans don't care about Activision any ways.
There is no doubt Activision is making some profit off of Sony, but could they be making more moneywith Dev time and resources spent else where? I think so, with some games yes.
I'm sure Sony wasn't happy with the way the PS3 version of Ghostbusters turned out. Sonys holds a big chunk of the GhostBusters license (I'm sure thats why we heard how the PS3 version was going to be superior) this is just Activision reply to Sony when Sony seen the game and said what the.... happen Activision!? Activision is like hey what do you expect the PS3 is hard to develope for, has a bad attach rate and has the smallest userbase on the market and you expect us to fork over the extra resources, not happening lower the price of the PS3.

Why does everyone keep bringing up Ghostbusters? That's an Atari title, Activision dropped it when they merged with Blizzard/Vivendi.
Sony had production costs with Movie and holds some rights.
