I knew I would be upgrading to the New 3DS as soon as I heard the magic words: "Xenoblade Chronicles." That said, I held out some hope that we'd get a free copy of it when we purchased Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U. As remote as the chances were of that happening before, it is even more so now that we know it will be available for the new portable. Oh well, if nothing else, we can still play the Wii version on our Wii U.
@DarkLord Except they didn't "opt-out." They found a loop-hole and exploited it. Once Sony realized what they did they modified their statement. Sony probably should have realized devs would find a way to circumvent their system, but hindsight's twenty-twenty as they say.
@jauburn @batts86 Sony simply said that there was no existing option for developers to do this, (opt out.) As far as they knew at the time that was true, but the CoD devs found a loop-hole and exploited it. They realized if they classify it as a "spoiler" they could block the content from streaming. Exploiting a loop-hole is not the same as having an official option to opt-out of the feature. Once Sony realized how they did it they changed their statement. This is not a "lie" on Sony's part, but go ahead and whine about one console while defending another if that makes you feel better. I'll just be over here playing the world's tiniest violin. By the way...your fanboy is showing.
