The Search For a Fudge Hog+Freddy Kruger Playing a Guitar.

After gourging on hearts in The Darkness, stealing from the dead in Bioshock and knifing poor beggers in Assassin's Creed, I've finally decided I could really use a break from games that would make a grown man flinch.

Yummy!

I love cartoons and birthday parties so obviously I'm going to pick-up Viva Pinata next...except it's IMPOSSIBLE to find! I'm not lying either, I've been to at least 5 different game stores and 3 pawn shops and absolutely nothing turned up. Is the game really that popular?

Does it feel like games getting shorter to anyone else? The past week I've gotten 5 games for my 360 and I beat each one in about 2 days (besides Beautiful Katamari which took about 2 and a half hours.) I'd like to buy a game that would last me a good solid week, any suggestions? Too Human looks good, I could wait for that to be released...but then again I'd probably beat it to quickly. :'(

I guess I'm out of dumb stuff to say for this week. So I leave you with Freddy Kruger playing an electric!

Guess who's back?

Ya, it's me! I finally got back from my trip to Edmonton and am very pleased to tell you, I am the proud owner of an Xbox 360 and Assassin's Creed (remember when the word Assassin was funnny?) I beat the game in a matter of two days and am busting with joy. The graphics are amazing and I'm addicted to unlocking achievements. Although I am currently spooning the console, there are some things I can't stand about the system.

The noise of the fan is UNBEARABLE. During some of the quieter moments of game play, the fan completely blocks out the voices. The power box=HUGE! I couldn't believe the size of the thing when I unwrapped it. It's the size of my dog's head...yeah. The RROD...I can't wait for that! I'm so nervous that I feel the side of the d*** thing every five seconds. Other than that, amazing!

I'm going to be heading down to the mall with a couple of friends in a few days when I get payed, and I wanna know what game you people think I should get. Halo 3, Gears of War, The Darkness, Bad company, or Dark Sector. Also, if you have any advice on how to keep my 360 in working condition for a LONG time, it would be greatly appreciated.

Teh Great 100!

Yes that's right, I finally have 100 friends! So, because of this joyous occasion I thought I'd inform you guys on what's going to happen for the next month or so...get ready for reading.

My Mommy Left Me :(

No not really, but she did head off to Britain for about a month and a half. I'm going to be staying at my dad's house for the rest of July and august, and when school time approaches, I'll be at my house with my older brother. While I'm here, there are two things that I hope happen: 1. We go on a road trip to Edmonton and 2. I get an Xbox 360. So that's that. NEXT TOPIC!

The Levels Keep Getting Harder!

Yes I know, once I get into the tens and twenties the experience will only drag by like a zombie that's missing half of it's person, but still, when I hope to go up by at least 35% so I can get a bit closer to the magnificent level 10, only to be disappointed with a 3% gain, it's heart crushing...

Giant Bomb's A Dud

I joined Giant Bomb a few days ago to see what all the fuss was about, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. I checked over some of the posts I had seen and was seriously disappointed with the restrictions on the site, which apparently, was none. Racist, homophobic, and and all around people had littered the site with insults and hostility towards one another.

The site isn't even that pleasing to look at. It looks like something I had thrown together in grade 7 computers. I'm sure that once (and if) they start to set guidelines and restriction the site will be a bit better, but still won't pry me away from my beloved Gamespot.

Congratulations! You have officially been filled in on the thoughts of a lazy 13 year-old! Make sure to stay tuned for updates and pictures of the trips I'll be taking soon. 'til next time guys!

E3 anticipation

Mortal Kombat vs DC

When I had seen the first few screens of the game, I though it was going to totally bomb, but after I saw live gameplay at the E3 live show, I fell in love with it. This is definitely going to be part of my collection soon!

Prince of Persia

I've always been a fan of the prince of persia games, I've even had a chance to play the old NES version, and it amazes me to see what they've done with the game. This time 'round the pri..er, drifter, meets up with Elika, one of the guardians of the land, to stop the god of evil, Ahrimar. If you didn't catch the live E3 show, then you missed out on some amazing gameplay footage. This game is going to be absolutely amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

Far Cry 2

I'm really not the sort of guy who plays FPS games a lot, but after seeing this video, I'm definitely picking this game up.

Chrono Trigger DS

Being a huge fan of the original Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, this game is going t placed on a pedestal right next to my bed. I can't wait to see how the game utilizes the touch screen function and how it will play out. This has to be my most anticipated game for the year of 2008.

That didn't take long! >:(

I FINALLY recieved my E3 08 bronze emblem thing.

After weeks of wondering "How the f*** did people get those?!" I have been crowned with the bronze sign of the worst E3 ever...ya' know, now that I think about it, Gamespot can have it back... J/K I'm an emblem whore xD.

I found a stray dog!

It was laying right in front of my 7-11. I picked it up, dusted it off and slid it right into my pocket :D Hmm? Oh not a real dog silly! It was a copy of Nintendogs. Anyway, when I got back home I checked it out for any imperfections, and to my surprise, when I popped it into my DS it worked fine!

I was greeted by a dog named Sparky (REAL original!) who was sent to the "Dog hotel" right away. I went to the kennel after and decided upon a Boxer or a Husky. I chose the husky because I love the gas store. When I was sent back to my home to play with him, I realized it was nameless. I tapped the screen frantically in search of an answer. I turned up uneducated about my problem.

After a few minutes of messin' around with the scamp, the screen faded to white with no mention of what had happened. I thought the chip had fried and I etched towards the power button until I was startled by a woman's voice shouting "Lucky! Maxwell!" I thought she was talking to me! I became so satisfied with myself until I looked at the bottom screen. I read the directions carefully and started saying "Gas station" into my DS.

When the hour of trance-like chanting had stopped I had a Siberian Husky named "Gas Station." Satisfied with my accomplishment, I proceeded to walk GS around the block picking up the oddly placed present every now and again. When we got home, I decided I should check GS's stats, and to my surprise, my DS had officially re-named me Dianne! Now I had two options, live the rest of my life being ridiculed by my friends for being called Dianne, or find a way to change it.

I tried to find any trace of a "Character info" tab on the house screen, and found my self as lost as I was when I tried to name GS! At that moment I thought clicking on another screen would probably help, so I tapped on the "Go out" button and when the screen had loaded, I was dumbstruck. Right in the bottom-right corner of the screen was an "INFO" tab. Feeling like a moron, I opened "INFO" and the first thing I saw was "Trainer info" I opened the screen and was shocked at my discovery. Dianne was a man!

Wondering what drugs Dianne's parents were on while they named him, I proceeded to change the name, birth date, gender, and awesomeness level...I know it's fake but I like to think I'm awesome sometimes... When everything was finished I headed back to the "Go out" screen and saw "Contests" title with a picture of a trophy. Seeing as how competitive I am, I tapped the button quickly to be greeted by three bars. "Disc throwing" "Obedience" and "agility" or something like that. I decided upon the disc throwing competition because it sounded like it was the most fun.

When the announcers had finished announcing we got into the competition. Now, I'm not the guy who's quick to realize things and with video games, it's no different, I threw the disc as far as I could and then it hit me that some practice really would've come in handy. Poor Gas Station ran his stubby little legs off, but he just couldn't make it in tme and the disc landed in the farthest end, rewarding me with 0 points. When GS finally arrived at the disc, he proceeded to gnaw on it. with only 30 seconds left, things looked bleak. I tried to usher him towards me but I didn't prevail. He stayed at the purple grass for a good 10 seconds until he realized this was a contest and he had to hurry his furry tail off. It was no use though, when he got back to me, the time ran out and we lost. Both tired and disappointed we headed home.

When we got back from the contest, I decided I had played it long enough and ejected it from my DS and popped in Phantom hourglass. Maybe GS and I will meet again one day... Well since you took the time to read this, why not get involved in it? Post your worst or best experience with the game to share with the rest of the community! :D

Since when was Metroid a Pokemon?

Today I decided to go to EB Games in search for Metroid Prime 3:Corruption, I rented the game once and never finished it. When I arrived at the mall, I went shopping for some other items and got a brand new wallet chain, a copy of the new Disturbed cd, and a pack of Stride gum (Luckily I wasn't tackled by any mountain goats.)

When I finished window shopping at Chapters I decided it was time to ascend to the second floor and towards Electronics Boutique. Upon arrival I noticed a cut-out for Star Wars: The force Unleashed (A lot of unleashed games now-a-days huh?) Maybe I would Pre-order it. I entered and headed straight towards the WII section only to come out of it in disappointment. My next destination: the front counter, where I waited for at least 8 minutes.

Finally it was my turn, I walked up to the cashier and immediately asked "Do you have a copy of Metriod Prime 3: Corruption?" To which he responded "Let me check." so he went to work at his keyboard. I peaked at the monitor which was built into the desk and, unfortunately, things looked bleak.

When the employee had finished he looked up at me and said "I'm sorry but we don't have a copy in at the moment, but we do have Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in." the sentence rolled around in my head for a second until I realized how absurd it sounded. I looked him in the eye and said "Since when was Metroid a Pokemon?" The gentleman looked as shocked and confused as I was. He looked at the ceiling for a moment, yeah, like the answer's up there.

After he looked back at his monitor and told me there was a copy of Metroid Prime 2 in, I told him I had lost all hope for him and exited the store. I was disappointed and decided to return straight home, and now, here we are. (This part is just in case the employee is reading) Brian, if we ever do meet again, I expect an answer.

Has Explosm exploded?

For the past few days I haven't been able to get on Explosm.net which saddens me much. I need my daily dose of giggles and without Cyanide and Happiness, I don't know how I'll survive. The site shortage may just (hopefully) be because they've been away and haven't been able to get online to maintain the site.

Is it just my internet connection that sucks or is the site actually down for everbody? I miss 'dem

Xbox 3-pity?

Apparently, to my father, I don't ask for much stuff while my sister asks for everything on the dark side of the moon.(I don't know what it means either) So he said that he would get me an Xbox 360 'cause I'm such an angel ;)

So I'm asking you guys what game I should get with it? Doesn't matter what it is either, I'll take it into consideration.
