GOOD NEWS! I have found a brand new series of games that are much better than 101! It's the close combat series. The best part is the online gaming community!

I am now pursuing strategies to bring more players into the community which are bearing fruit.

Finally a strong online playing community for daily head to head play!

Alright I found several major flaws with 101 Airborne. Only one map really provides the action I'm looking for due to the many hedgerows I'm required to travel. That might even be tolerable but the Germs are on every hedgerow and they tend to hide and I cannot progress until they are killed. That flat out made me quit this game.

Ok the base strategy has produced some results which means that it is a successful strategy.

Yay, I got promoted to Journeyman! Maybe I can post in the forums within the next month!

Also I have realized that using the "results from the web" will be an awesome option once the emblem is over. I should keep up on this note because I may be liable to forget...

Ok, that was somebody from an online game called The General. I dropped that game b/c it is one of those boring games of empire building/combat that can be reduced to simple formulas and I just don't like games like that.

Anyway, implemented some of my newest strategy and no responses yet.

Also I just realized that inviting 101 people to be my GS friends"from the get-go" is counter-productive. What I need to do is go back and send those people that didn't list ICQ/AIM addresses a letter asking them about 101 since they own it.

Ok, I'll get back on the progress of this and my other project.

Contacted my first player through ICQ -- he's playing alot of new games and has suggested HALO (yikes 100+ mb download!). I asked him what the sys reqs were and waiting for him to get back to me. I notice he liked the multi-player function of 101 Airborne. I must pursue that when he is online again.

Now for the additional strategies.... OOPS gotta go someone just declined me from the ICQ list gotta check into this...

Just like when jumping out of a plane it can be easy to get disoriented, it took me awhile to find a place that could properly support my efforts to find players for 101 Airborne.

I have added all Game Spot 101 Airborne players to my ICQ or at least invited them to be my GS friends.
