[QUOTE="RiSkyBiZ-13"][QUOTE="Rekunta"][QUOTE="RiSkyBiZ-13"]So, I've been a regular smoker now for about 7 years- roughly pack a day. I always thought I could "quit whenever I want to," but let me tell you- it's NOT that simple. If I go for longer than 2 hours without a ciggarette, my hands get clammy, the back of my throat closes up, and I feel really nervous. To top it all off, the ONLY thing I can think about is having a smoke. I need to chew nicorette just to get through a plane ride, it's rediculous. Just a friendly reminder to the GS community.Rekunta
Why did you start?
Because I was a moron 14 year old kid and thought it was cool, I also didn't understand addicition at all and firmly believed that I would "quit before I got addicted."
Have you tried those addiction kits that slowly help wean you off? I hear they work pretty well.
I'll be starting a smoking cessation class soon, they perscribe all that stuff. It's just a shame I couldn't do it cold turkey, but oh well.
