Metroid Prime at 85!?!? What are they smoking?? That game should be AT LEAST top 20 in any list like this. OoT at 20 bugs me too. How in the hell did COD4 and freaking Ms. Pac Man beat out OoT?? Yeah, it's all opinion and all, but damn do they have weird tastes.Superzone

Ms. Pac Man being in the top 10 is understandable.

Sonic the Hedgehog being #34 is not. At least one of the Sonic games, possibly Sonic 2 or Sonic CD, deserves to be in the top 20. Period.

[QUOTE="RichieGecko"]

It looks to me like that list was heavily influenced by some Nintendo fanboys.

Master_Hermes

Or Nintendo has made some of the best games of all time.

An all time best games list without Nintendo games in like an all time best paintings list without anything from the Renaissance.

I'm not suggesting that they should have omitted Nintendo games altogether.

What I am saying is that there are far too many in this list.

You make a very good point here. I am also worried about bug fixes that will not be available for download in the future.

Aside from the downloadable content, I also think there are also fewer games this generation that will be regarded as "cla$$ics" in the future.

Well, you can probably buy another one for relatively cheap.

[QUOTE="Seabas989"]

  1. Half-Life 2
  2. Age of Empires
  3. Knights of the Old Republic
  4. Half-Life
  5. Age of Mythology

KHAndAnime

Half-Life 2? :P

LOL...I was just thinking the same thing.

I'm not really sure what you mean by legacy, but I'll stick to pre-2000 games in my list.

1. Doom II
2. Warcraft II
3. Command & Conquer: Red Alert
4. Scorched Earth
5. Sim City

Probably NES and Gamecube.

I personally think N64 is probably the most overrated console of all time.

NES was my first console. I got it for my 6th birthday back in 1985. (I guess I kinda dated myself there) :)
