Not sure if it's been posted on here or not, but best buy is running a $49.99 sale on Dark Souls right now. Going to pick it up myself tomorrow. Who knows when the first actual price drop will take place so this might be the best deal we see for a while. Happy gaming guys!
Same issue as above with battlefield 3 so I tried Netflix and it worked for a second and then stopped. Def a PSN problem if multiple people are experiencing it. My laptop and iPhone are connected to my wireless just fine so I know it's not that like the error code says.
I don't understand why people need to put inflammatory stuff in their bios you shouldn't get suspended for it but putting something in there just to piss people off is just childish and dumb. So I don't agree with your suspension due to content but do on principal. It's like when people complain about bans because of being reported for being obnoxious on their mic's. "oh but I didn't swear or anything" Yeah but sitting their screaming into your mic or playing loud music or anything else to be annoying just for the sake of being annoying is worthy of a 48hr ban IMHO.
More expensive than a ps3=fail I still don't understand how they expect ppl to but the 3ds for the price of 2 used wii's. I refuse to pay console money for a portable unless I am completely blown away. I got conned into getting the first psp basically at launch and was very disappointed with the games released for it in the first few years. IMHO no handheld will ever be worth a day 1 purchase especially a Sony handheld which will have a psp2.1 out the following year.
no way sony would be dumb enough to switch to a new system with no backwards compatibility this soon. They just released the psp 3000 less than a year ago. Now they are going to strand all those users and say oh sorry but 'X' game is only available through digital download for the pspgo! you'll have to upgrade even though your system is only a year old. If this is true i'm done with sony. Con millions into buying psp3000 in the last year just to strand them? I doubt its true but if it is then i guess i'll just go get myself an iphone with cheaper games, better internet, and the ability to be a phone.
and what of your old umds? i mean people that trade in their psp 3000 2000 1000 whatever will have no backwards compatability for their umds rendering all of their games useless unless they hang on to their old psp and purchase a psp go! and pay out the full $200 or whatever it will cost. And believe me that will be few people with how scarce money is now, i mean of course you'll have the spoiled brats whose parents will buy them anything to not have to spend time with them but for someone like me with rent, car payments, credit card bills, ect its not practical to expect people to shell out another $180+ for a new system with no backwards compatability.
Plus my biggest problem which is now can you eliminate the used game market? That would be the worst idea ever. What happens if you shell out $40 for a new game and hate it? your stuck sorry you cant even get the $20 gamestop would have given you. What if you beat a game that you liked but has 0 replay value? Sorry either delete it for room in your memory or hang onto it and never play it again. Just doesn't make any sense to me.
Not to mention if sony keeps putting out updated hardware like this no1 is going to want to buy anything from them because they know it will soon be outdated.
i'm wrestling with this myself. I just got rid of my ds because i heard of all the great games coming to the psp (soul cal, assassins creed, tekken, lbp ect). I then started reading about the psp go! and was immediately turned off. I want a psp bad esp with all of the support it seems that it will be getting but i'm not going to spend $180 on a psp3000 if none of those games are even going to be in umd format. I am big into trading games, without trade ins i wouldn't be buying half of the games i do now since i have car bills, credit card bills, rent, ect to pay every month. Digital downloads completely get rid of the used game market which i think would be suicide for any console given how tight money is now adays. Digital download is cool for little arcade style $10 games or ps1 throw back downloads but to expect someone to pay full retail of $30 or $40+ and then not have anything tangible to show for it is just nuts.
I hope the pspgo! is some sort of a joke by sony. Why would anyone buy the damn thing? No umd drive takes away your ability to play the umds you already have and your psp3000 can already play downloaded games so there is no need to upgrade there. I also can't imagine sony to be dumb enough to take away peoples ability to buy and sell used games. Download only means anyone who trades games or buys used ones is SOL. I personally only buy new games but i trade in a lot and i can say that i definitely wouldn't be buying half as many games as i do now if i lost my ability to trade, i have rent to pay car payments, and credit cards that demand the bulk of my money. Sorry sony but no no umd(or some other kind of cartridge or disk) means no sale for me. I honestly hope this is a joke. Im just curious about what people think has the best story of any ds game. For some reason i find it hard to get into most if not all ds games i have played i dont know if its the small screen the lack of voice acting(in some games) or just a lack of good writing in general.
But anyways i am just wondering what was a game you played which had you excited to keep playing and see what happened next?
