my bravia runs blu-rays at 1080i and they look great. i switched the resolution on my ps3 to 720p max just to test the difference, and 1080i is noticably better. sure it looks best at 1080p, but not all of us are that fortunate. however, people who say blu-ray thats not in 1080p isnt much of an upgrade over regular dvds are re-tar-ted, or maybe just blind... one of the two for sure

a lot of times, especially in the PS3's case, money is lost on hardware sales (the PS3 is worth a lot more than 600 dollars), so the software prices are jacked up to compensate

i have a 32 inch bravia as well and it looks great... true it cant do 1080p, but yea, it doesnt make too much of a difference at this size anyways, and the tv should only be around 13-1400 dollars in the US (mine is Japanese)
