Hi, My exact problem! I keep switching between CC & Wiimote - one is good for moving but rubbish for aiming and the other is vice versa. Not sure yet as a newbie which one to pursue. I think it will be the Wiimote but no idea how the settings work! Cheers, Rob
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Aim assist is on but it acts as if it isn't - I'm using the Classic Controller and messed about with the settings but at the moment I don't stand a chance as it does not lock on.
I'm a newbie and started playing online and i'm getting mullered! Everyone who comes up against me seems to lock on to me instantly but using the Classic Controller I really struggle to lock on. I've messed about with the settings loads and have set it to Custom with Aim Assist on, however unless I am exactly pointing at them it does not lock on. I thought this would lock on if I am a fraction off, as it does when I play the missions. Can someone explain how Aim Assist works and how to make use of this as against someone of Level 10+ I don't seem to have a chance in a shootout. I know I will improve but am just really struggling at the moment to understand how it works. Also what Cursor & ADS Cursor settings are people using? I've tried the Wiimote but can't get on with it - please help as it's so frustrating!!! Many thanks in advance. Cheers, Rob
Hi, Thanks for the advice. Started completing the missions and improved quite a bit. Think I need a bit more of this before I play online again (unless anyone wants cannon fodder to practice on!). Cheers, Rob
Just got this for Xmas for my son and we're playing online. We're both new to shooting games and we are both coming to terms with it. We are using the classic controller and playing against each other as well as online, where we are really struggling. Others keep sneaking up to us and they are not shown on the map - why is this and any advice how to deal with it? Also we both struggle to aim accurately quick enough for the kill (the snap option is set to on) and have messed about with the control settings - I presume this is just something that takes time? Any other advice for newbies to this shooter games? Thanks. Cheers, Rob
