I don't mind buying used so much. Blu-rays are actually more durable than anything that came before and don't have batteries in them, so we're safer buying used today then we ever have been.

As it is, I almost never buy new any longer. Outside of Nintendo first party, most games are half price after 6 months so I'm quite happy to wait for price cuts for new or used games.

At this point these guys are probably better off investing in scratch-and-win lotto tickets.

I really liked The Saboteur. The ending was rather abrupt and unsatisfying though. Would have loved to have seen a sequel or a remake or something. But Pandemic (that's a rather unfortunate name for a studio these days) is gone, and I doubt it's much of a priority for EA.

Yes, No More Heroes is up there.

Most people didn't play Azure Dreams,a great PS1 rougelike, but about 10 years it got a sequel on the DS that abandoned everything that made it good called Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal.

And what unnecessary sequel list would be complete without ActRaiser 2?

If you've been a long-time PS Plus subscriber, probably not. However, if you are a late adopter or you just never picked up a big library of games, I think it's worth it. I've used it for 3 months, And with that I've played God of War, Fallout 4, City Skylines, Control, and a bunch of smaller indie games. For the $30 I've spent to get that I'm more than satisfied.

My hemorrhoids haven't been cancelled.

On related subject, as much as I loved the original StarTropics, I've never touched the sequel. Anyone play it?

....I hate all of you. I swear to God, i have had hemorrhoids that cause me less pain than you people. Big nasty ones that rip open every time you have a bowel movement, and take forever to heal and almost get you to the point where you consider a liquid diet for a month and a half.

But yeah StarTropics. That's a hell of a game. StarTropics 3 at E3 this year? Anyone else with me?

[QUOTE="Hungry_bunny"]Shouldn't it be worth more money now since it has more games than it did at launch? Anyway, still think they should give it at least one price cut... wouldn't be surprised if that didn't happen this holiday season either though...KungfuKitten

I don't know... nintendo and pricecuts rarely ever happen. Even their games in the stores, LOZ, SMG, etc. They remain full price for ever and ever and ever.
If they can get a black wii to the stores, i think they see that as a price cut.

That's true as far as 1st party games go, but there are plenty of 3rd part games like No More Heroes, MadWorld, de Blob that have all seen prices cuts. Plus the Wii also gets a number of very good titles that are launched at a low price. Zack and Wiki, Dawn of Discovery, Okami, and Excitbots for instance all launched at $30 or $40. Much less than the $60 tag that you see on my HD games.

So to get back to the question of "is the Wii worth the price." I say yes. To me if you can find 10 good exclusive games on a system then the console should be worth it, and at this point in its lifespan I'd say that should be easy enough for most people except for true graphics fiends who absolutely need a game to look cutting edge (nothing wrong with that either). Between the good run the Wii has had in the last few months, the high quality first party games, 3rd party gems, the VC, and the half dozen really good WiiWare games there should be something for just about everyone.
