Howdy, I'm Cord, from Texas, but you can call me whatever you want, I have my fair share of nicknames from tons of people. :)

I'm 17 and I've played Zelda forever. The first one I played was The Legend of Zelda on the NES. I was pretty little then so I never actually beat it and now my poor NES is a little tough to work with. Since then I've played Ocarina, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Windwaker, Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess... That's all of them, I think. I've beaten OoT over and over, it never gets boring, working on Majora's Mask, I hate the time limit, beat Seasons and working on getting Ages for the linked game, just got Windwaker, beat Phantom Hourglass and I haven't had the time I'd like to devote to Twilight Princess. I've just joined Gamespot and joining this union seemed a bit of a no-brainer for me. I'm not the most knowledgeable Zelda fan (there are quite a few games I haven't played or beaten), but I'm definitely a fan. So...

Howdy. :D

I'd have to say Midna, for all the reasons stated above.

I also really like Sheik. But that might not count...

Shiek was just really cool. He was that mysterious stranger who popped in every now and then to keep you on the right track and make sure you were heading out fully prepared. I always like the mentor/watcher characters.

And Linebeck. He was just a funny character and turned out okay in the end. :)

I loved the Ocarina and music mechanic in previous Zelda games, so I'd always be ready for more of that.

I think blood and swearing would be a little too much for a Zelda game. It just wouldn't seem the same.

Maybe having a dog or something, somewhat like Fable 2, would be cool.

Maybe a little more acrobatic ability would be cool, but not full-on PoP stuff.

The shield and tunic sounds interesting, but would probably drive me insane eventually. :)

That's a toss-up between Sheikah and Zora. I don't know why, but being either one sounds cool.

I would guess it's because Zoras live in the water, always an attractive idea.

And Sheikah are kinda mysterious and mystical.

Plus they're ninjas. :)

Hey, it was definitely a disappointing conference but Nintendo didn't leave us out in the cold. Pikmin, Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, maybe Kid Icarus are all great confirmations (with the exception of Icarus) of games coming to the Wii.

So yeah, we have plenty of first party to wait for.

On that note, plenty of third party too.

Just because no groundbreaking trailer was shown or massive secret revealed doesn't mean Nintendo forgot about their fans.
