Has nothing to do with your ISP. As far as your IP address changing it technically isn't. You lease an IP address from your ISP (comcast, windstream, whatever doesn't matter) your modem is then plugged into your router and then becomes a private IP address. (192.168.1.x) You can have many different connections all at once all using 1 IP address that is masked like that. What you need to do is figure out how many devices are already connected to your network, most likely you have a desktop that is wired into the router, and then whatever else you have wirelessly. If your router has a restriction on how many it can support that could be a problem ( most likely not though ). The best thing to do is to unplug your router, unplug your modem from the router, unplug your modem, wait 30 seconds, plug in your modem again, wait another 30 seconds, plug your router in, plug your modem into your router and retry with your Xbox OFF. It can cause problems if your router is trying to assign your ps3 with the same IP as your xbox.jwilks209
