Finally my copies of Spiderman 3 and Command and Conquer 3 have arrived from gamefly.  It's taken spiderman over a week.  Luckily Command and Conquer (the game I really wanted to get playing) arrived within three days.  Lets just get down to my first impressions of these games.

Spiderman 3

The first game I placed into my Xbox-360 was Spiderman 3.  After reading the reviews of the game I really wasn't expecting much from this game based on a movie.  Immediatly after starting you're thrown into the action of a building being bombed by some character I didn't really recognize.  Unfortunatly this quick action sequence is immediatly ruined by...you guessed it...a tutorial.  Why do they always make the tutorial look like its going to be awesome and then it sucks?  Anyway...the first thing your taught to do is fight.  This is my major problem with this game.  It is probably the most boring combat ever.  It's a button masher and thats pretty much the extent to the game.  So after you finish the tutorial your finally free to go about the city.  This was my favorite part from Spiderman 2.  As I expected it's probably my favorite part in the 3rd as the campaign so far (Only played to 'missions') is simply...unattractive, boring, and really hard to get into.  It doesn't follow the movie at all it seems.  So, the only real fun thing i found was just swinging around building to building.  Also I'd like to comment on how well this game looks.  The city is definatly detailed but sadly not as big as I would have hoped.  All in all it's an OK game.  Not sure how long it will be before I return it.  Maybe just squeeze out some gamerscore out of it. 

Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

Now, as you'll learn, I am a huge RTS fanatic.  It is just my genre.  C&C surprised me when I played the demo cause most console RTS games are just plain horrible.  I much prefer to play them on the PC.  However C&C is different for me.  The controls are easy to use which is a huge surprise.  This is how it is meant to be done. So far the game looks great. I could only play to missions in the first campaign.  So actually I'm gunna hold off on this game.  It's just to good to give you a good first impression now after I've only scratched the surface of this game.  When I can get into it further, I'll give you all a clean impression and probably a blog review.
