I used to work at Gamestop (also owned by EB). Thank god i am out of there. Prices for Trade are the same for both stores.
The answer to your question: Yes you are getting ripped off. Like someone above said "you're selling them for a fraction of the price." Thats very true. You're not even getting anywhere close to half.
Reason is...they want you also to subscribe to their "Game Informer" Magizine so you can get an extra 10% on your trades...even with this you're still not getting half the price.
I honestly laughed when people came in to trade their games...i was like - WTH are you thinking trading that for this price. Some people just want money right away becuase they dont want to spend the time to try to sell it.
Best Solution: EBAY or Find Some Friends that would want to Buy it off you.
Gamestop and EB have also ripped off on their Trades.
Also, side note: I love how they gamestop recently changed their phone slogan "Thank You for Calling Gamestop where we buy and sell used games"
TO
"Thank you for calling GameStop where you get TOPDOLLAR for your trades"
Top Dollar? rofl, you think that will change my mind....lol
Take care and hope this info somewhat helps.:D
