Pff, more american arrogance and stupidity. Russia will never just die away and I'm speaking from a realistic perspective. She has gone through some of the most difficult times in history and will not vanquish out of nowhere.
It always makes me sick when American people believe their school books word for word. I cannot give you a link because I read books and barely get any information from wikipedia or sources delivered by the public. Books I read are "Defining Moments - World War Two", "Eastern Front: Russia's Road to Berlin" or "Hitler's Bunker" by Joachim Fest or "Barbarossa" by Will Fowler.
Your typical numbers are very wrong. The German invasion alone had much more soldiers than the entire Soviet army. The Germans at first got stuck in the mud to Moscow. Millions of Soviet partisan groups were evolved because the Russians have been historically known for their resolve and willingness to commit blood sacrifice for "Mother Russia" even the enemies of Russia have admitted this Hitler Napolean, and Churchill to name a few. The losses of Soviet partisans were tremendous but globabl statistics have added these numbers to the death toll for soldiers. Anyway, the roads then froze in November 1941 and yet the Germans advanced and got their first fierce beating and defeat by Siberian troops highly trained for winter and the incredible T34 tank and PPSH41 assault rifle.
Some of Hitlers best SS divisions were chopped to pieces at Moscow.
This information is new to you so that is why you refuse to adapt it. But many deny the truth because they don't like it.
Over 80% of German military losses were on the Eastern Front. In 1943-45 Soviets had much less losses than Nazis. So, who is the best? I admit, Nazis were faring much better in killing civilians, they were specialists on this on an industrial scale. Between soldiers and technological advancement, defiantely the Russians are superior to the Germans in the end.
Losses of Soviet Union - 26,6 million persons among them 8,67 million soldiers. Losses of Germany in War with the Soviet Union - 9,73 million persons, among them almost all (more than 95 %) soldiers. Consider also cowardly infringement of the non-aggression pact and weapon superiority of German forces in the beginning of war, and also the allies of Germany who fought against the USSR.
So in basic, the Germans, even without the Allied aid from the West, would have never taken over Russia. Nobody ever did and nor will anyone.
