It's a shame the squad mate infection system was never fully developed and is just scripted.

@steve3030: there are difficulty settings, plus some mods that makes the experience easier too.

You can check for rebalance mods on nexus, if you just google that you're bound to find them. But I heard the game is pretty easy already on the lower difficulties.

@nemesis: Reviews are done with the state the game is in, maybe the game will get fixed but many developers don't issue patches . It's more honest to review a game as is, not trying to predict the future.

@mogan: There are a lot of reviewers not commenting on the day 0 patch that fixed a lot of issues.

Sure, there could still have some lingering issues, but I know they many reviewers didn't use the patch and you can see by the gameplay videos and old loading screens.
