Any ideas how a guy who got stabbed in the chest would be able to run away and hide in a tree? You'd think he'd be leaking stuff all over the place.

I would personally opt for the paintball marker method myself. Two in the eye and the burglar can't play with the PS3 anyway. Plus if he got away, the whole town would recognize the moron with a painted face and busted eye sockets. :D
