Havn't really noticed, save for the chainsaw sounding more like a real chainsaw, especially the bit at the end where it trails off with a tinny sound. Personally nothing beats the sound of falling mortars on locust flesh :D.
Mine got red rings of death a while back and they just repaired the console (yeah they specifically say to take the HD and faceplate off). So u'll get the same console back, just with a new cpu.
