The Xbox 360 is getting ready to receive a rather big fall update to Xbox Live which has many Xbox 360 owners yearning to get their hands on it. A member over at the Official Xbox forums has leaked the feature list.

None of this is confirmed but this is the second time that this particular poster has put up the information in regards to what is going to be included in the fall update to Xbox Live on the Xbox 360.

This first attempt at putting this up was deleted and led many to believe that it may actually be very credible and real.

The Xbox 360 fall dashboard update is expected to be a major upgrade to the Xbox 360, the features listed are below. Again this is all rumor until it is confirmed directly from the source, Microsoft. With the update expected soon though it may not be long before we can verify or squash these rumored features.

Compatibility with 3rd party wireless controllers
Compatibility with messenger pad
Xbox Live Vision firmware upgrade, sharper image filtering
Many more Vision Cam settings
New screensaver settings - when away from Xbox 360, screensaver will play for optional time, before screen goes dark
New Xbox Live Arcade blade - where you can download, play and learn about Xbox Live Arcade
Brand new "web based adver-games" flash games which aren't downloaded, but are playable bite sized games, accessed via new Xbox Live Arcade Blade
New Screensaver option in Themes and Gamer Pics option in Marketplace blade
New functionality with Messenger, works with chatpad
New XNA Game Launcher for those that have the program, new options
New language, time and date settings
New "advertising opportunities" in gameplay

New "favourites" option via Xbox Live Arcade, can rate according to preference
IPTV Functionality - support for TiVo like PVR options. Will be able to record TV direct. Options include source by channel, director, actor and distributor

-Better slideshow capabilities, new options added. New sound effects and integration with --Hard Drive/ PC music capable.
-New estimated timer for downloads, informing how long download will expect to take

So I was thinking about this very quite sometime now, well really for 3 months and i decided to do it. Plus i have the time i want now, because I'm a full time blogger. So over the past months I have been telling my friends about making my own website; for xbox 360 news. Like xbox360fanboy, but in my own way; people would be more interested in. And when i told them some of them wanted to help!

So i kept on telling people and soon as you know, I had messages telling me "whenever your ready to make one, count me in." And that was great but the problem was we had to get are own domain name somthingsomthing.com and i didn't know which one is really good. So i told everyone to just starting writing articles about the recent news on xbox 360 and soon enough, i bought out a building and moved all our computers (laptops) and some xbox 360's there. So now its a office station.

But I still didn't have there right web hosting or domain name, so we just started making a demo or beta. On a free web hosting, and free domain name. And we got into so much, its really good. But at the same-time who would go there if they knew its was not a (real) website. So we were sad. And we have great writers, we have gone to all the recent events, in PAX, WDC, E3 wee went to. But we just didn't know how to get started on a great website.

Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all have next gen consoles, out on the market. And two of the three company's have there own portable game players for gamers who travel. Now Nintendo has had the best one out there; the DS Lite. It has sold over 12 million in North America. For Sony, they have a pretty good player as well, called the PSP (PlayStation Portable.)They have sold over 6 million inNorth America. Now Microsoft does not have a portable Game player out on the market. To me this is the time to bring one out, as the xbox360 is the number 1 selling next-gen platform to date. And if consumers love xbox so much, and love there software, (which Microsoft is know to be good at.) Then give themwhat they want, overall Microsoft will get more money so it works for everyone.

The good they is if they were trying to make one, they would have tons of great ideas. And even tons of ideas how not make a small system. They have two examples, from Sony, and Nintendo. So if Microsoft followed both systems, then they would know the pros of the product and cons as well. So overall they can make a better product in the end; now there is one big problem though. Sony and Nintendo have a huge head start, so it would take allot of power to get in the same market numbers as those two.

Because of Microsoft's huge xbox live fan base they could put it easily in a portable system. So pc games, xbox 360 gamers, and xbox portable gamers can play with each other. How cool would that be! And lets face it, Xbox 360 has better graphics then the ps3, so they could put a even better graphics card in a portable, that is better the PSP. The DS is more for casual gamers, with Mario, cart racing etc. But there are more hardcore gamers out there that want good looking games and great gameplay. Now the PSP has tried to go for the hardcore gamers and have failed. Yes they sold alot, but in-fact there is only one portable hardcore gaming system out there. So they know choice; and with an even better line-up of games out on the Xbox 360, they could port it to it as well.

Even the marketplace and chatting with your friends, videos, music etc. There are so many possibilities out there for Microsoft if they made a portable system. Just name it Xbox Portable, thats it. Consumers would be very happy.:)
