PC or not PC?

Thats what i ask myself lately( in terms of gaming). Well, having a PC and playing on it allows modifications, great graphics (depending on how much you ve spent on a graphic card) multiplayer, mouse (if u r fan of first person shooters it is the only way to enjoy them) and also that great feeling that you have total control with a stable keyboard, instead of a gamepad where there are buttons on every corner of it. On the other hand, game requirements have gone wild lately, so a medium Pc with some good features and a decent graphic card can only last for a year, which is extremely annoying.

Now consoles may have a specific quality in graphics limited capabilities, but at least have a 3-years-at least life. Ok, you ll tell me its because of the graphics, they are of the same quality for each game, either it is a new one to the console's  history or the most latest one.But try to do the same on a PC, a year after u bought it( the PC) you wont be able to play a new game, not even on slowest resolution, because the requirements are increased to fast( for example the minimum required graphic card to run a game is 128 mb, after a year goes 256mb)

Eventually i think i ll do this: keep my PC just for Internet use and other programms(Photoshop,Word and others) and buy one of the new consoles(maybe ps3, it has many many titles). I ll keep it for 3-4 years and then buy a new one, i think its the best and way to enjoy gaming, without spending  money every year to continue playing new games. (except the money to buy new games)
