Hi CheeseEater, Windows 7 scored well on some gaming benchmarks as of late, so I think the questions about gameplay have been answered, for now at least: http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/25/windows-7-edges-out-vista-for-gaming-in-thorough-benchmark-tests/ I think we'll start seeing more benchmarkings as the Beta moves down the road to RC and further. Hi petemoss41, I'd say that downloading WMP11 is probably the best bet here to easily access your files through the dashboard. Is there a reason you're looking to get them through the dashboard rather than the Windows Media Center? I get it, sometimes I like to listen to my own music in-game rather than the other stuff. So, yeah, Windows Media Player 11 seems like the most-logical fix for you right now. Try that out and let me know how it goes (you can DM me here or I'll just check back). Here's the link to the Windows Media Player site: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx And here's a quick link to setting up your WMP and Xbox sharing: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/devices/athome/music.aspx Cheers, Ron Windows Outreach Team
Hi guys, My name is Ron, and I'm a member of the Windows Outreach Team. If you're running Windows Media Center on your PC, it makes using your XBOX360 as a media center pretty easy. You can stream the media over your home network with very little work. Here's a link to the Windows Media Center page for more info: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/features/media-center.aspx Hope this helps. If you have any other questions about media center-ish type stuff, just holler and I'll see what I can do for you guys. Cheers, Ron Windows Outreach Team
