Every preview I read tells how great is this game. However, it seems to be optimized to a party of four, which is a problem to me. It is not a game to be played with strangers but rather with friends and it will be though to convince three to buy and schedule time to play it.
I am very excited for this DLC. Although I am glad that they choose Billy to star this game, I am disappointed she will have gadgets that grant powers similar to the Outsider' gifts. I enjoyed a lot playing Dishonored 2 with Emily without the powers.
Anyway, I love Dishonored and I hope the next game will bring the series to a different continent or time to show us more of the setting and explore even more crazy abilities.
They are not pushing the games as Play Anywhere. Perhaps the project was not as accepted by the third party publishers as they expected and very few titles will support it.
Considering that, except for their first party titles, everything they showed are smaller games that will probably not receive much, if any, attention at E3, I say this is a very strong lineup.
Microsoft is very confident to open Scorpio to Digital Foundry. I believe they will go deep in the technical side and will find it to be excellent. However, this is not the main problem Microsoft faces right now. Fact is Xbox's library is nowhere as good as PS4's. Microsoft closed studios, cancelled games and let its main IP, Halo, to slip under mediocrity. The result is that XBox's library, although good, is much weaker than the stellar PS4's one.
New hardware is good and I'm excited for Scorpio but Microsoft is fooling themselves thinking it will boost the Xbox One to the old 360 days.
Not only this will provide a great game experience but, also, it will generate enough heat to allow preparing burgers and other grilled food while you're not playing.
@uhtred: Although I agree it is the worst game in the series, I disagree with all your points. My problem with the game lies in its reliance in Sam, a character I pretty much despise, the dark tone, very far from an Uncharted game, and the length, as It become a chore after a while playing it.
I still think Super Metroid is the best videogame I ever played. I would give it a 10, even without taking in regard the obsolete technology used to create it.
I watched it yesterday. Jones is certainly a Warcraft fan and worked hard to make a good movie from the material. He failed. Still, it is not bad and one of the best movies based on video games.
