@ Cooketh, I completely agree with what you said about backwards compatibilty. I'm thankful that I got a 60GB console, so I have full backwards compatibility. It ticked me off when they got rid of backwards compatibility because that was one of the great selling points of the PS3. But with the PS2 selling so greatly, I can see why devs continue making games for PS2. There's still a huge market for PS2 games, which will only increase now that they are being sold in South America. I think Sony needs to seriously limit the number of games released on PS2, because to me it seems like they still focus 25% of their energy on a last-gen console.

I'd say that overall, both consoles are about equal on graphics. I would like to see the 1080p PS3 images vs. the 720p 360 images. I know that's not a very fair comparison, but if the PS3 is capable of it, then it should be counted.

I'm not going to trade in my current PSP for one, but maybe this will breathe new life into the handheld.

Unimpressed. The HD-DVD player will be waaaaay too expensive and wont play games. The Xbox Vision thing...useful for nothing and will probably be used by many users for choice things. Racing wheel? How many of those are there on the market? Pass. Wireless Headset? No thanks, I'll just stick with a far less expensive wired one. Faceplates? Great, more to replace a week later.
