I'm looking for a game that has above average graphics (meaning new, I dont want any 1998 games here), and games that have base building and feature empires like the Roman Empire. Heres a list of games I already know about but dont want:

Age of Empires: Set in later ages

Total War: RTT(Real Time Tactics) meaning theres no base building its just a bunch of battles

Empire Earth II: I already have it, love it but I'm bored of it

Rise of Nations: Cant stand 2D graphics

Stronghold: Too much base building, lol.

Theres a lot more, honestly to give you a better picture, Take Medieval 2: Total War and add base building. Or take Company of Heroes and set it in ancient Roman times.

Was it just me or did anyone else notice the GTA IV reference as you get off the boat in the first mission? A crane is taking an old style car off of the boat much as the crane on the Platypus is taking the drug loaded Sentinel off of the boat in GTA IV. I noted a million references to The Lost and Damned but wont take the time to list them all here. Also during the Irish mission where you are sneaking into the warehouse, "Harbouring a grudge" anyone? Yeah I guess that was a little farfetched but hey it did look alot like it.
