Some might think this is a stupid qustion, but I'm notvery clued up onthe PlayStation 3 or Blu-Ray players. I am aware that most, or at least a lot of BR discs are "region free", but my question is in regards to the hardware. I live in South Africa, and we get our hardware from Europe. So, for examlpe, a PlayStation 2 is a PAL system, and only Region 2 DVD's are playable. My question is, is the same applicable to a PlayStation 3? Is the system restricted to PAL or NTSC, depending on where it comes from? Or is PAL/NTSC irrelevent with Blu-Ray Discs? So if I import a Blu-Ray from the US, will I be able to play it on my European PlayStation 3? When I eventually buy it that is...
Maybe the sinking of Jacinto killed off the Lambant Locust, the glowing ones, I think that's what they were called, removing that threat for the regular Locust. Adam Fenix might have been working with the Lambant to fight the normal Locust? Who knows. BRING ON GEARS 3!!!!
Halo 3's graphics are often critized for being "average" or "like Halo 2 in HD". But I disagree. No, it's by now means the best looking game around, but it does have some stunning lighting effects, and I love the subtle motion blur. It's not one of those games that'll instantly slap you in the face with visuals, but if you take some time to look at it, it's quite beautiful....
The original Halo was massively over rated, the sequels were massive improvements. Really enjoyed Halo 3. And Metal Gear Solid, the series in general, not really bad games, just over rated. Vastely prefer the Splinter Cell series...
