i was wondering if the 80G hard drive was compatible with use in the 40 G model? not for playing ps2 games of course but just as a new hard drive. please reply soon.
i have the same problem except i have a 40G. when i start it from the back the red light turns on like normal. then when i tap the power button it makes a clicking sound where the hdd is and then a yellow light goes on. then it starts blinking red.:shock:
i have the same problem but i have a 40G. The yellow light isnt actually yellow... its just the alternate switch from red to green and the cover makes it look yellow. but i still have no clue how to fix it.
