Toronto would be sweet. . . but Vancouver would be better. . .the turnout would be wicked. After all, they don't call it Hongcouver for nothin.

I like Asians, they make 3/4 of the stuff I own.

Kids now a days are more interested in the 1st person shooters, the WoW type games, or massive co-op games. Fighter games just don't have room on the table of the young anymore. It's like that old man you see still wearing bell bottoms, a jean jacket, a bandana and smoking a J wondering where all the cool sh*& went.

I honestly think with the current news that GTA gets about how "controversial" it is, a game that you describe wouldn't even be created right now. I think in a few years when the community finally realizes it's "Just a Game", then maybe we'd have a chance to see this in production. It's definitely a good idea, and if it was made properly (i.e. using some real FBI, Murder Investigation sort of people) it could potentially be a huge success. It would just depend on the amount of news that's been circulating about "bad game types". Also, I believe it would have to be a credible company that's willing to go through all the BS that they'll see when this type of game is released. Because I can guarantee you, there will be lawsuits, angry picket-lines, and pissed off parents if your Serial Killer game was release :) Probably within the first day it was announced, lol.

Probably because they rush it, they have over paid programmers doing under paid work. The production manager's of those games are pansy's who take the directors/producers lame ideas and put them into there movie game? There are a ton of reasons why Movie Themed games have sucked buckets in the past. Once thing I've noticed, is that they usually ALWAYS release the game first before the movie. I dunno, that seems kinda dumb in a way. I know I personally will not touch a movie themed game that's released before the actual movie. Why would I waste my time and my surprise on what I know will be a crappy game. It just doesn't make sense. They need to really start taking there time on making the movie games and not worry about release dates etc. That just sets them up for disaster.

This should have been a poll topic ;)

I personally never went through the arcade phase that alot you older folks went through . . .namingly because, well, I didn't have to in order to play good quality games. So my vote is definatly swayed towards the console. But, I definatly could see why people prefer arcade, especially for driving and fighting games.

This debate could go on for ages, because that's how long it's going to take for companies to start using something other than discs. There's just nothing "safe" for companies to use right now without getting they're code/game ripped off. I'd like to say Digital Downloads will be the way things will turn, but let's face it, that's like handing over the game to hackers to distribute for free. Not like that will ever change, there will always be that someone that has to hack a particular game/system.

It'll be atleast another 10-20 years before we see any real changes in this area.
