I went to Game Stop today and picked up a copy of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PSP for only $7, and it's my first time playing a Ratchet and Clank game, and it's my first PSP purchase (it's not my first PSP game, however; Valkyrie Profile Lenneth was the first PSP game that I ever played). I would've ratherbought the PS2 or PS3 entries, but seeing how I don't own either of them I decided to pick up Size Matters.
It's kind of fun so far I guess, I mean you get to shoot and explode things without any consequences; how many platformers let you do that? The answer: hardly any. It's actually kind of fun shootingand blowing things up. I guess you could say that it's well worth the $7. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but so far it's pretty fun. I'll definitely want to look into getting the Ratchet and Clank games for the PS3, and possibly for the PS2 (if I can ever get a PS2 again).
I might look into getting Secret Agent Clank, but that will all depend on if I end up liking the series or not.Besides, I decided that Size Matters will be my final game purchase of this year and I'll have to wait until my birthday and Christmas before getting anymore games. I'm trying to save up money at this point.
On a side note, it looks like I won't have a life at all this winter. I didn't enjoy swimming all that much so I'm not doing that anymore, and I wouldn't have made the team anyway (I enjoyed conditioning but try-outs were horrendous). It looks like I'll have to wait until the spring before I do any other sports. Not doing any sports throughout the fall and winter means I'll have more free time, but it also means I'll be doing practically doing nothing... but oh well.
