So, I had maybe 10 minutes ago finished watching The Last Lecture: Achieving Childhood Dreams
It was just amazing, it was so inspiring and amazing. Don't get me wrong the video is long, but it was SO WORTH watching it!
I was so enticed by his lecture the whole time, it made me thing about what some of my childhood dreams are and how I could hopefully some day accomplish those dreams, and then even after that, to do something like Randy, to help others accomplish their dreams.
Randy was a great man, he was able to take the fact that he was slowly dying and put a happyish spin on to it, and (obviously managed to) be happy. Not only that, but even on something that should be all about him, he focused in on other important people, like his wife and 3 kids. He is just a very selfless man and went out of his way to help others achieve their dreams.
If you have yet to watch this video, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you watch this.
