[QUOTE="ghostjga"]Go for the cord... Cheaper and Better performance online... Wireless will lag you up sometimes... Bruce_McGivern

I've never had problems with lagging and the Wireless Router... If you wanna spend the 100 dollars go ahead... but basically you can use any Wireless adapter that uses USB to plug into whatever you want to be wireless.

You are wrong dude. You can't just use any Wi-fi adaptor. They need drivers. As for the 360's Wi-fi, the drivers are already in the console itself. I'm using the 360's wi-fi. Doesnt seem to lag anyway. Just need a good bandwidth.

I'm buying xbox 360 this friday, and hopefully either a 20" LCD Monitor or 22-24ish LCD HDTV. Right now I have a newer(non HDTV) 24 inch flat screen tv. And a 5 year old 17inch computer montior. I would like to play xbox 360 the way it was meant to be played(or close to it) for the cheapest amount, I will have roughly 250-350 dollars to spend

SO what option would be better. playing xbox 360 on a 20inch Monitor using VGA cables, or a 22-24ish LCD HDTV?
Im thinking the monitor would be a bit cheaper. any thoughts?

dude. depends on your budget and needs. HDTV has 720p and 1080i/p. if your room or house has space constraints, you should go for the LCD monitor. as for the LCD monitor 1280x 720 and above is already high definition. so, it's your decision to make.

whenever i play a game theres always about a inch cut off at each end...(right and left) i am using a HD 32inch samsung widescreen TV. i went to settings and im using 1080i and the picture is sick and there is an option under settings to take it off widescreen but its grayed out...i went to my TV settings and its set to wide picture but i cant change it...i think its my xbox cuz when i shut my xbox off..i can change from widescreen to something else....idk what to do....ne help plz!!!lilomez238

dude..why not you try running at 720p? 1280x1024 or 1380x720. try that. it may work.. because 1080i have a fixed resolution in the 360 whihch is the 1920x1080
