Hey man, you skipped my question I think.

Hey man, you skipped my question I think.
"I remember now, last night I was..."
The words trembled in my head with constant wish that a real answer would fill my head. To really know that answer, to really know what was of me that last night. I couldn't remember anything at all, and the clues that I was given - a bottle of vodka, a bloodied knife and a corpse lying next to me only gave me the chills when I began to wander... Have I killed this man?
But no... I can't remember... Anything, nothing at all. My name is Josh, yeah... But where the hell am I?
I was scared. Deep **** scared.
And then I heard them - the sirens of the local police quickly engulfed my ears. I was in trouble. But, no! I'm not guilty! I didn't take this man's life... I swear I know I didn't. The door next to me was quickly being rammed as the police tried to get inside, I was running out of time... But what could I do? Take my own life?
No! I'm not a coward! I will tell them the truth, that I didn't kill this man.
I stood up and gripped tightly the handle of the bloodied weapon, waiting for the police to enter the building... And they did. But a quick swing of my knife quickly brought the first one to his knees as he covered his sliced troath. Then something horrifying happened, the dead man stood up.
"What the **** Josh?! We were just playing...!"
I stood eyes wide as I looked at the police I just killed. My best friend Mike in a cop disguise. Damned vodka...

I actually like this quote. Why? Because I take in a different point of view - that is, taking it as support.
What I like about this quote (or more likely, what I think of it) is that - you are never that good in what you do. The society will always ask more and more from them - be it that they want better technology, a faster car, the colonization of Mars, anything really. This quote gives me the idea, that there is always room for development in what you do, there is a constant learning that you can do every day and night, you never truly stop learning.
So in a nutshell - I think that there is always room for development in what you do, and even though you could be really good at what you do, society and yourself will always ask for more and thus, comes more development for yourself.
Hello all. My name is David and I'm from Mexico (neh I'm not that 'cholo' style you find in California). I, like all of you, enjoy writing and reading - I prefer the former. I've been writing all kinds of things for about... 7-8 years now. By the way I'm 17, so I started writing when I was like 9 (cool huh?).
So... What I like to write. Well I enjoy writing about almost anything, but my favorite subject would have to be Stories. Stories of all kind - Adventures, Sci-fi, horror, drama... Anything! It is my passion and I know I couldn't live without it (look! I'm being dramatic even in this post!). Lately I have also been taking a fancy into writing blogs and making forum-based RPGs for fellow writers like us. I will not say I'm a good writer - I'm always on duty to try and become better at what I love.
My other passion is, of course, video games. For some reason, a while back I stopped playing them - maybe it was because of the pressure that life gives us at times, or maybe I was beginning to feel bored or lazy to play videogames. But I'm back to my own self now!
I've known about Gamespot for a few years now, but just until yesterday I decided to register to place and check out more of the stuff that it has to offer.
Aside from writing and playing videogames I also enjoy a lot of other things; basketball, partying, women, music, and socializing are things that pretty much describe a big part of me.
And... Now I ran out of words. Well that's basically me. Anyways, I hope to meet you guys soon and share ideas about writing. Cheers.

This is cearly an omen that someday the 360 will rule the entire world!
:shock::?:|
Uhh... I'm outta here.
That would have to be Resident Evil for the PSX. Heh, I was like 6 years old and my cousin had it, and he always told me not to play the game or I would get the s--- scared out of me. But, being a kid, you never listen to what they tell you, well at least I didn't -- and curiosity took over me and I played the game.
...
I swore that day that I would never, never, go against my cousin's orders... Back in that day, RE sure was scary, but now it's one of my fav series. So I guess it was good to have had that experience, lol.
