You should buy emerald for your son, because it has almost all pokemon from ruby and sapphire. Plus I hear that the story is different and more interesting! There are new features, new pokemon(ex. teddiursa), etc.

I think you should buy her nintendo games like mario party DS, new super mario bros., etc. I know this person who is 7 years old and he got a game boy when he was 5! It really does suck that the 40 GB can't play PS2 games, so I think they made this because no one would know that it can't play PS2 games and they would still be making money! So if you still want to play PS2 games then just buy a 80 GB( which costs even more). 80 GB is the only one that can play PS2 games. I hear that there's going to be a 160 GB! You can get that also, but the price is going to the double of the 80 GB. I hope you're rich enough to buy this one if you're interested!
