The Big Three-Oh...Oh.

With today's purchase of Dance Dance Revolution and Fighter Maker 2, my Collection now has 300 games! Of course, that includes the games that really belong to my sister that I planned on playing, too, and excludes the online/freeware games I play regularly that aren't listed on GameSpot because they're not deep enough to be considered video games... but STILL!

And yes, I know Fighter Maker 2 got bad reviews, but I'm highly interested in games with very high customization.

I found it!

Soul Calibur for Dreamcast is finally mine!  I found it at a cool game store at the place I was staying while being away last weekend.  That store had games all the way back to the Atari 2600!  They were in five-packs at about $10, if I remember correctly.

Whoo!

>_>

Yeah.

New games!

Just got Tekken, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and Brain Age.  I tried Brain Age first... the writing detector thingy needs serious work.  It only accepts the number 4 if you write it the two-pronged way (like it appears on a calculator), and only recognizes the 7 if it has a line through it.  The font in the game does not show either number that way, and both are unnatural for me.  I also spent half of a 3-minute test trying to get the dang thing to recognize a lowercase A.  It usually read it as "ol".  Other strange phenomena include a k being interpreted as a w, and an l becoming an r.

>_<

Happy Apocalypse!

So, yeah, people are saying the world'll end tomorrow. Pffft.

I hope it doesn't, anyway... I want my Web Games Union to see the light of day, and an apocalypse is NOT going to help progress.

>_>

Hmm, I wonder if they got that union-making glitch fixed yet?

*checks*

EDIT: Nope. *sighs* I guess I'm gonna work on a new banner... I just found a buncha cool Photoshop effects.

EDIT 2: Done already... that was fast.  Anyway, now that my page has 100% more HEAVY METAL, any thoughts?  <_<

...so THAT'S where Advance Wars went...

I just found a trove of GBA games I left out of my collection.  Except Advance Wars, I just considered that missing.  So now, my only missing games are Tetris and Animaniacs for GB! Unless I'm forgetting more games.

Gamespot... UK?

Apparently, since in my personal information, I put "Other" as my country, it assumes I am British. It now says GameSpot UK at the top of my page. Mmm... logic...

EDIT: It's gone now.

It's ALIIIIIIIIVE!

My collection is finally complete! I even removed and re-added my 3 most recently purchased games so that section is accurate...

So... I guess I'm gonna start reviewing the games now. I figure I'll start with the games that have no reviews, not even an official staff one... so I can help... bring... reviews... to the world?

Whatever. That's what I'm gonna do. It may lose me this emblem, but I do wanna review... Meh, there's more to life than emblems. I think. >_>

Ooh, shiny.

Yay, I got 2 new emblems today for adding my SNES games to my collection yesterday! Ever since I lost that GameCube one for actually starting to add my other games, I"ve been hoping to get another... >_>

...and I still have NES, Virtual Boy, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Atari 2600 games to add! Woohoo! ^_^

In other news, this is my first blog post. More yay. <_<

In other other news, I promise not to put an emoticon after every paragraph (if you can call those lines "paragraphs"...)

EDIT: I just finished adding the aforementioned NES and VB games... and encountered the first game in my collection not in the GameSpot database: V-Tetris for Virtual Boy.

EDIT 2: Ooh, I forgot about e-Reader games, too. After those, though, and the GB, GBC and Atari games, that's it.
