Thats what i thought initially and then i thought that maybe they are holding wii's to sell along side that game too. but then it says available tuesday...a new zune mp3 player comes out tuesday too, but i cant imagine that selling all that well
My friend just called me and asked me why there are a bunch of people outside of best buy waiting for something. This struck my curiosity, but i was unable to find anything on here or newhere else. Was wondering if anyone could help me out and enlighten me. Thanks!
well i waited 3 hours. i called them up and spoke to a rep about this. she said the servers went down if u dont have the update. she said they are renewing them or something and said it could take up to 48 hours. also said to try to log in again every 2-4 hours.i am officially pissed
I am having same issue. I went into network settings and everything is working except the xbox live. all the IP, MTU, etc. are working. I called Msoft and the first thing on the recording is that there having network trouble and to try to connect in 1 hour and then if it doesn't work call back
If you're using Windows Media Player as your media server, make sure you have WMP 11. Then do the following --
Open up WMP.
Click the "Library" tab.
Click "Media Sharing..."
Click "Settings"
Check the box next to "Allow new computers and devices automatically"
That should do the trick. If you're not using Windows Media Player then this won't be much help. If you are it'll work like a gem. Send me a PM if this didn't work for ya.
I looked on sony's FAQ but it didn't help. I saw on my PS3 UI that u can stream videos from my PC. was wondering how to connect. when i selected the option from the ps3 UI it told me that access to my media server wasn't allowed. i tried to turn my firewall off and it still didn't let me through. was wondering if anyone else could help me out.
i owned a Wii, PS3 and 360. i feel that right now the 360 is the best console out there for me. All my friends have it so we play on live together on gears and COD. i have a ps3 and i sold my Wii. i never used the wii what so ever. i use the ps3 primarily for bluray and to webbrowse when i dont feel like getting my computer booted up. i just couldn't see my self parting with either the ps3 or 360 mainly b/c the potential the ps3 holds and the live interaction with my 360. i think that the wii is a very childish system and it mainly is set to appeal to an age of 12 and under. cmon now the thing can't even do DVD playback let alone bluray or HDDVD. its a poor excuse of a system, although it still sells like crazy
