@Pierce_Sparrow Valid point. I'm no fan of QTEs by any means, but they don't ruin a game for me. I hope it doesn't get to that point.
The evolution of a series is a double-edged sword - by trying to expand their audience, Capcom will certainly find that they are or already have alienated their core fanbase. I'd gladly trade RE5 for another one like RE2, but I just don't see it happening. I enjoy the story and the characters though... so that's what keeps me coming back.
Oh, I know. I've played them all. Opening doors has been a staple of the series since the first. The quick time events became prevalent in 4, so I'm not sure why this was a shock. And if you want to be technical, wiggling the joystick to break out of a zombie's clutches debuted in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (I believe.)
Yikes. Maybe I'm just too hard on games. Or maybe my expectations were too high. Either way... I just wasn't impressed. I feel bad about it... but I'm just not enjoying this game as much as everyone else. I wanted to...
SERIOUSLY. 7.5??? Where is the game that these people are playing? Ugh. Wish I'd saved my money. Check out my thoughts before you buy this one: http://www.media-feed.com/amazing-spiderman-game-review/
I never really cared for the original Lego Batman, but I'm certainly not going to try it now. My buddy wrote a review if you guys are interested: http://www.media-feed.com/lego-batman-2-review/
