[QUOTE="Kolossi"]

Get it and while youre at it, get Uprising.

DanielDust

That you should not, Uprising really is a horrible expansion, you should only get it if you want to have the entire collection or you had an extremely great time with RA 3.

I can tell you that i had an extremely great time with ra3 and still hated uprising.

Most of what it costed was the commanders challenge which failed to amaze me. It was just preset skirmish modes, but you get to unlock a unit in the end.

For example, if you go play skirmish and put kenji as enemy, in a commander challenge mission it will put you in the same map with kenji, but add a "story" to it, like "Look, commander kenji wants to oppose you and claim this region for him, deafeat him commander!".

You can do the same in skirmish, just no shiny explanation and unit is already unlocked. Awesome!

Stormrise is the worst RTS ever, but CnC 4 is still a horrible game.

Edit: Then againg, Stalin Vs Martians stained the genre as well.

I'd go with endwar.... It brought slow paced Rts gaming to a whole new level, not to mention the 12 units max cap.

I would definetely reccomend getting the trilogy instead. I have mp1 and mp2 for Gamecube and mp3 for the wii (all bought at release dates), and when trilogy came out i rushed to get that too.

There have been variouss improvements to the 2 remakes, like the controls, sharper graphics, bug fixes, difficulty tweeks, like the annoying speed boost guardian in mp2, was optimised and made easier and load times.The whooping 30 seconds-ish waiting for a door to open because a large room behind it was loading don't exist anymore for the most part.

From what I heard its BS, apparently if your TV is 1080p then it already automatically up-scales it the best it can without needing a device.

kenakuma

The wii has a max of 480p quality. Even if your monitor is full HD1080p it won't go above 480
